Behind the Wheel Training
SKILLS Teen School Day One uses various exercises that demonstrate how drivers can utilize vehicle dynamics to their advantage. Knowing what you can and cannot do with a car is the first step to becoming a better defensive driver. We can take overconfident drivers down to a reasonable level and bring unconfident drivers to a comfortable level. Teens practice these rigorous vehicle exercises all day behind-the-wheel of a car, NOT in a classroom.
The SKILLS Teen School Day Two takes the basics of SKILLS Day 1 and kicks everything up a notch. Additionally, more exercises are added to the mix to continue the learning curve and teach accident avoidance techniques to drivers. Texting awareness, situational awareness and lots of Skid Pad work is attacked in Day Two. Day One is a pre-requisite for Day Two and we prefer to have 30 days elapse between the classes, but special accomadations can be made.
