Become a
SKILLS Driving Instructor

We focus on hands-on accident-avoidance training. The training is conducted on a closed, SKILLS Driving cone course and the instructor administers the curriculum with feedback throughout the day. The candidates will attend a SKILLS University Day to learn the curriculum, scoring, logistics and administrative needs to execute a SKILLS event. After they are comfortable, instructors will be able to select the events they would like to work. 

   

SKILLS instructor requirements:

• Knowledge of vehicle dynamics

• Motorsports or professional automotive experience

• Professional communication skills, in front of the client

• Self-sufficient and able to execute a SKILLS training on their own

• Flexible schedule as most of our events are held for 1 day, during the week. We do have occasional weekend events.
